Following critical success with recent revivals of Alan Bennett’s The History Boys, Proof,  and the first professional UK tour of hit musical Spring Awakening, Sell A Door Theatre Company have announced the first professional London production of  Stephen Flaherty (Music) and Lyn Ahrens’ (Lyrics) musical based on the world of Dr Seuss.

Seussical amalgamates several of Dr Seuss’ most famous books including Horton hears a Who, The Cat in the Hat and The Lorax. The original production opened on Broadway on  30th November 2000 at the Richard Rodgers theatre, with subsequent US tours in 2002 and 2003.  A revised 90 minute version premiered off-Broadway in 2007, the same version that will be presented by Sell A Door here in the UK.

Seussical opens at the Arts Theatre, London on the 4th of December and will run over the Christmas period until January 6th 2013. Cast and creative team are yet to be announced. Booking is now open.
