NEWS: Seagrove and Crowe become Fallen Angels

Fallen Angels1Jenny Seagrove and Sara Crowe will unite on stage for a new touring production of Noel Coward’s Fallen Angels.

In its first revival in over a decade, producer Bill Kenwright, who staged the comedy hit at the Apollo Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue in 2000 starring Frances de la Tour and Felicity Kendal, has announced a new touring production of the show.

Seagrove and Crowe will star as best friends Julia and Jane. With their passionless husbands away playing golf, a mutual long-ago-lover announces his intention to pay Julia and Jane an impromptu visit. All in a fluster, there’s clearly only one thing to do: hit the bottle! Or rather, pop open the Champagne!

As each successive glass of liquid courage is imbibed, tongues start to loosen, hidden jealousies surface, the claws come out, and all attempts at demure behaviour go out the window.

The UK tour starts at the Theatre Royal, Windsor on 27th August and then visits Malvern, Cheltenham, Eastbourne before ending in Cambridge on 28 September
